Airport pick-up
If you're over 18 you can opt for our airport pick-up service. We'll charge £42 to pick you up from Newcastle International Airport.
If you're under 18, then you must use this service or make alternative arrangements that satisfy our under 18s policy.
International Foundation Scholarship
There are International Foundation Scholarships available for high-performing students every year.
To apply, you must already hold an offer to study at INTO Newcastle University in one of our foundation programmes.
Scholarships are available for the following courses:
- Architecture International Foundation
- Business and Management International Foundation
- Humanities and Social Sciences International Foundation
- Science, Computing, Engineering and Mathematics International Foundation
- Biomedicine, Biology and Pharmacy International Foundation
Each scholarship is to the value of £10,000. You'll receive the scholarship in two parts:
- £5,000 will be deducted from your International Foundation tuition fees
- £5,000 will be paid towards your Year 1 tuition fees at Newcastle University
You must successfully progress to a degree course at Newcastle University to get the second part of the scholarship.
Application deadlines
- 30 June for students starting in September
- 31 October for students starting in January

INTO Newcastle University Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship
Newcastle University is offering an unlimited number of scholarship awards to International Foundation, Year One and Graduate Diploma students. This is subject to meeting the qualification requirements.
The value of each award is £3,000, which will be taken off the first-year tuition fee at Newcastle University.
Qualification requirements
- Newcastle University confirmed as your first choice (Foundation students).
- Obtain the marks needed to progress to a Newcastle University degree.
- You must achieve a final overall EAP mark of 65.
- You must achieve a final academic weighted average mark of at least 70%.
- If you are awarded a scholarship, you MUST confirm your acceptance. An online form link for you to complete will be provided within your award letter. You MUST complete the online acceptance form as soon as possible and within the deadline stated in the letter. Delaying acceptance may delay or cause issues with the new CAS (for your degree programme). If you miss the deadline stated the award will be withdrawn.
If you are sponsored by a government or company or the recipient of an INTO Newcastle University International Foundation Scholarship or other higher value Newcastle University scholarship, you do not qualify for an INTO Newcastle University Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship
