First Aid and Accident Report

If an injury or illness occurs during an Intramural 7s Football fixture teams should inform our grounds staff who will provide first aid treatment.

If a member of your team leaves our outdoor sports grounds and their injury or illness deteriorates resulting in attendance at a hospital, urgent care centre or doctors then we require the captain to submit the Intramural Accident Report form – this should be emailed to the Intramural Sport Officer or handed in at the University Sport and Fitness Centre

Following any report of an illness or injury, you will be contacted by a member of Sport Services to see if any further assistance or support can be provided during any phase of recovery.

For head and concussion injuries. A SCAT test is available from the University Physio in order to determine a timescale for your return to playing sport. Costs for this will be paid for by Sports Services.
