Visit Bursary for School Groups

This fund is available for teachers, to support with the costs of bringing students to campus.

How much can I claim?

For the academic year 2024/25, state school and college staff can claim between £250 - £750. We will use eligibility criteria as outlined in our Access and Participation Plan, such as percentage of free school meal students and the socieconomic background of the students at your school, to determine the value of your travel bursary.

We will confirm the value available to your school upon submission of the form on this page. If you'd like an urgent response, please email us using the details below.

Where possible, we don’t want the cost of travel to be a limiting factor in attending our on-campus events. If you’re concerned that the available bursary will prevent your school group from accessing campus, please get in touch to discuss this further.
