Background
Malasree is the Operations Manager for School X, with broad oversight over both the operational and educational functions for the school. Though she started her career in Higher Education (HE) as a researcher in medieval history, she moved on to a career in HE Professional Services. This transition has been influenced by personal factors (as the mother of primary school age daughter), and in an attempt to achieve a better personal work-life balance. She has significant experience in Research administration, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and student experience projects. In prior roles, she has led on a successful Bronze Race Equality award for Newcastle University and a Silver Athena Swan award at Faculty level.
