I am currently a post-doctoral research associate in the structural biology group of Professors Jane Endicott and Martin Noble in the CRUK Newcastle Drug Discovery Centre. My research predominantly involves the application of Cryo-EM to the structural solution and evaluation of protein complexes involved in cell cycle regulation and transcription to guide downstream drug discovery.
I obtained my PhD in 2021 at the York Structural Biology Laboratory (YSBL) at the University of York under the supervision of Professor Gideon Davies. My project was funded by the BBSRC and focussed on the structural and biochemical characterisation of human lysosomal glycoside hydrolyses and their aberrant function in lysosomal storage disorders.
