Staff Profile

Olushola is a Research Assistant in Horizon Scanning and Evidence Synthesis aligned to the Medicines, Digital, Devices and Diagnostics (DDD) programme at the NIHR Innovation Observatory. She supports her team to contribute to the delivery of horizon scanning outputs including identification of emerging trends and technologies, as well as provide strategic insights to key national stakeholders. As part of her role, she scans for and monitors emerging technologies in the Medicines and DDD space with the aim of enhancing health outcomes in the foreseeable future.

Olushola earned a First Class Honours degree in Pharmacy, followed by an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy from the University of Lagos. Driven by a desire to explore new frontiers in healthcare, Olushola has embarked on a journey into research, with a particular focus on the intersection of Pharmacy and medical devices. By combining her expertise in pharmacy with an understanding of device technologies, Olushola seeks to develop innovative solutions that offer personalised and holistic approaches to disease management.
