Background

I have been involved in research project management for Newcastle University since 2012. I currently support a project funded by Wellcome Trust's Institutional Fund for Research Culture (IFRC) The project is focused on building enhanced leadership capacity to enable psychologically safe and inclusive research environments and is a top priority project within the wider institutional Research Culture Development Group. Previous projects I have managed include the Cancer Research Newcastle Centre, translating advances in cancer research into patient benefit; a European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) network, a collaboration among European scientists dedicated to developing new concepts for improving the survival and quality of life of transplant patients with Chronic Graft versus Host Disease (cGvHD),  and a Marie Curie International Training Network.
