TREAT-NMD SMA Dataset Project Manager - my current role is to facilitate development and collection of an expanded core dataset for TREAT-NMD global SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) registries. This activity supports supports post-marketing data collecting for emerging SMA therapies. I have overall responsibility for establishing, managing and co-ordinating the project working with a diverse group of international stakeholders to ensure consensus regarding data collection and to ensure project outputs are delivered to meet funder requirements.
Previous roles at the University include :
Business Project Co-ordinator, FMS Enterprise Team - my role focuses on assisting academics in FMS with contracts for consultancy services, commercial research and facilities hire. This involves working with the clients, academics and the legal team from initial costing discussions to distribution of income and to ensure agreements are in place in a timely manner.
Business Change Officer (Science & Engineering Excellence) - provide change management support to the project team as the SAgE faculty transitions to a new structure from 10 to 4 schools
Research Networks Administrator - responsible for managing and co0ordinating an EPSRC funded eFutures electronics network and providing administrative support for nanoLAB and NEXUS.
MBA/ EMBA programme secretary - Business School.
Prior to joining the University, I worked for 20 years in industry for FTSE 100 company in the energy sector. During that time I held a number of positions including supporting delivery of SAP national IT implementation programme, Business Change support officer and HR Resourcing Specialist for a large Shared Services Centre.
