Operations Manager

Background

I am currently Operations Manager within the Leadership and Management team for the Faculty of Medical Sciences. I oversee the professional support service in order to meet the strategic and operational objectives of the operations within FMS as well as operations within the Newcastle Clinical Research Facility (NCRF) and the John Walton Muscular Dystrophy Centre. I also have a number of Faculty based projects that I lead on. I work very closely with our central service colleagues in managing all elements of the finance, HR and communications. 


Previous Roles

My first role at Newcastle University was as a HR Assistant back in 2014. Since then, I have held a number of roles across the University including HR Assistant, Office Manager and Team Leader.
