Ayomikun Ogunyemi is a Research Assistant, with the National Institute of Health Research Innovation Observatory that sits within the Population Health Sciences Institute. She supports the gathering, tracking, and reporting of healthcare innovation and the delivery of a range of outputs, such as technology briefings.
She believes that research answers questions and provides solutions to issues in all fields. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and a Masters degree in Public Health. She has worked in a multinational pharma company as a senior medical representative, and as a community pharmacist where she had the role of a community health project manager. She is also a certified weight management consultant.
Her research interests are in interventions and behaviours that can contribute to improving the health of the public. She is also interested in Evidence Synthesis and presenting the findings in novel ways, including the translation of intelligence/data using dashboards and novel visualisation. My main interests fall into the following themes:
