My role as a Project Manager within the Faculty of Medical Sciences is varied, ranging from planning to ensure milestones are met, communication to all stakeholders, supporting clinical trials, financial management, co-ordinating outreach activities such as PPI activities, Sandpit events and ECR events.
As the projects are largely translational, a significant part of the role is liaising between the Trust, University, External parties, and the funder.
I currently support translational grants from MRC, NIHR i4i, BBSRC and have previously supported a CRUK grant.
I have a PhD in Immunobiology, and BSc in Applied Biology. I have gained relevant experience from working in drug development and clinical trials within the Pharmaceutical Industry, UK and US government led projects, and also various Project Management roles within academia.
