Dr. Oana Bretcanu joined the School of Mechanical and Systems Engineering of Newcastle University in November 2010 as a lecturer in Biomaterials/Bioengineering. She is involved in different research projects in the field of Biomaterials for Bone Tissue Engineering applications. Dr Bretcanu currently manages Optical Microscopy, Optical Profilometry, X-ray and Thermal Analysis for Advanced Ceramics laboratory equipment.
