Background

I have worked at Newcastle University for almost 16 years in a variety of administrative roles with experience working on University Open Days and a variety of student facing duties.  I have worked in a variety of voluntary roles to gain wider experience in a supportive role this included the University Buddy Scheme and the International Welcome Events.


I worked as a Student Wellbeing Adviser from November 2021 to February 2023 where I was an initial point of contact in the school for students to discuss any wellbeing related issues and provide guidance, support and referrals where appropriate.


I am currently working as a Therapist in the Student Health and Wellbeing Service based in King's Gate.
